MBK Tape Solutions Hires Family & Friends for Summer Jobs
August 15, 2018 – Not only is MBK Tape Solutions a family owned and operated business, nearly a third of MBK ‘s employees are related to one another, either mom, dad, son, daughter, brother, in-law or cousin. Keeping work within the family, MBK offers paid work experience to many of the employee’s offspring.
This past summer, James Lopez, Ruby Hernandez, Yessenia Lopez Padilla, Nicole Ramos, Alvarez Christopher and Ruben Aragon, worked part time answering phones and/or packaging in the clean-room.
Yessenia will be a senior at Granada High School and wants to be a major in math when she goes to college. Nicole graduated from San Fernando High School and will be attending Mission College majoring in Business. Graduating from John F Kennedy High School, Christopher will be joining Nicole at Mission College. James graduated from Granada Hills Charter High School and will be going to Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, majoring in Computer Science and French, minoring in Music. The last student hired, Ruben, will be working at MBK while attending Icon Collective Music School, majoring in Audio Production and Music Theory. MBK appreciates their help and positive attitudes. Wishing them all the best in their future endeavors.
